These are links to radio stations that are known to play (or anyway have played) my songs and some have my whole CD. So tune in sometime and give them a little support in return for their support for Country music. Maybe even contact them and ask them to play one of my songs 🙂
Lee Williams and the whole list of European (and world) Hot Disc associated stations that go with being part of the family on http://www.cmrnashville.com/ .
It will take you a while to get through all of them 🙂 .
Here’s some more links and stations to try:
Chris Smith on Uckfield FM http://www.uckfieldfm.co.uk/contact-us/advertising-opportunities/
Chris was kind enough to say that (quote); “Frank writes good songs and it would be nice to see other singers picking up on some of them” (unquote). Well, yes it would Chris, I’ll go along with that. There are a few people looking at the possibility of doing so, but first on board and out there doing one of them is Jeff Gallant who has picked up on the song that got to number five in the UK & Irish charts for me; He’s Got A Way With Women. Jeff includes that song regularly now both in his solo shows and when he’s with his band.
Brian Mann – Town Country Radio
http://www.town102.com/on-air/info.php?refnum=3539
Brian often plays my songs and (so far as I know) is one of only two radio presenters so far to play my 6.5 minute long song Sippin’ Cold Tea on air (Keith Greentree on Radio Norfolk being the other brave soul to do so). That’s a too long a song to be considered for radio play generally, so I appreciate that fellas.
Brian Mann has been among the most popular faces and voices of the Suffolk (in fact the whole East Anglian) country scene for the past 22 years. These days you can listen to Brian’s subject knowledge and choice of music on Town Country every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, with music picked personally from Brian’s huge country collection.
So whether its the latest releases, Irish or American artists, or your classic songs featuring just before 4pm then tune in! To contact Brian during the programme:
Call: + 44 1473 839102
Text: + 44 87474 (start message with TOWN)
E-mail: brian.mann@town102.com
To nominate your favourite songs for Brian to play just contact him and maybe he’ll pick your tunes to play on air around 3.45pm
Power Country FM – Australia
an old friend of mine; Greg Symes who lived in Norfolk playing steel guitar in several well known local Norfolk bands and first trialled Power Country from a tractor sales yard near Wymondham runs this great 24/7 Country music station (which now encompasses 30-odd local terrestrial stations up and down the length of Australia). He has uploaded all eleven tracks of my album on his database which is vast so I don’t expect they get heard all that often – but it’s all good real country stuff on there so the wait won’t be anything but a pleasure if you like your country straight.

Rodeo Norfolk
tune in to Keith Greentree every Saturday morning 9am-12noon. Keith got an excellent response when he played a couple of my songs a few weeks back.

BBC Essex – Steve Cherelle
I was pleased to meet up with Steve when at the Pentney (mid Norfolk) based Stockyard Festival 2012 and have a few words with him. You can hear Steve on the local BBC County Radio Stations throughout East & West Anglia on Sunday afternoons between 4pm and 6pm every Sunday afternoon.

11Radio.com
Joe Carroccio runs 11radio out of Tempe, Arizona, solely for independent artistes. You won’t hear big label artistes on this station! But he is doing a great job for indie’s of all genre’s. Whatever your taste (Jaz, Pop etc etc) there’s a good chance there’s a link to indie music of your choice on his 11radio.com station. The link I’ve given here should take you straight to the County music station.
